Region VI Adult Protective Services Board of Houston

Our Mission

The purpose of the organization is to improve the lives of the elderly and adults with disabilities in our community through EDUCATION of the public, ADVOCACY and mobilization of RESOURCES.

We facilitate community education events that raise awareness of the needs of older and disabled adults.

We host yearly community outreach activities that include annual community resource days.

We mobilize resources to communities and APS staff in Houston and 12 surrounding counties.

The Region VI Adult Protective Services Board will host our 16th Annual Conference. This important event will bring together professionals from healthcare, law enforcement, veteran services, and social workers to raise awareness and strengthen our collective response to elder abuse!
